Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have any other trips currently planned?

YES! Not only do we offer our signature January trip, but we are pleased to announce we’ve added a second 2 week tour in April, a more compact summer tour for 2024! Tour London Theatre is available to arrange custom theatre tours at any other time of year for groups with a minimum guest commitment of 20 or more (pricing will vary depending on group size). Please reach out to us for more information.

Is airfare included in the trip price?

Airfare is not included in the trip price.

Can I change plays that have been scheduled?

Our performances, and the corresponding guest speakers related to those productions, are carefully curated by our staff, with recommendations by theatre critic Matt Wolf, and in partnership with the esteemed casting director Jeremy Zimmermann. As such, registered attendees are not able to make changes to the programmed schedule created by our tour.

However guests can decide to add plays on top of the programmed schedule. These plays are not covered in the cost of the trip, but we are happy to help advise on scheduling and ticketing of additional free-time performances.

When is the play schedule released?

We purchase tickets once the tour size has been confirmed and final payment has been received. Our tour guests can expect to be notified of the play schedule shortly after their tour’s final payment due date. We release our schedule to non-guests through the website after the tour’s conclusion. Previous tour content can be found at the top of the website in the PREVIOUS TOURS menu.

What happens if a speaker has to cancel unexpectedly?

If a confirmed speaker has to unexpectedly cancel their appearance, Jeremy Zimmermann, one of London’s premier casting directors, will work with the production to secure a replacement speaker. Guests will be notified as soon as we hear of any potential issues and who our new speaker will be.

I have a friend who lives in London, can they join the tour performances and talks only?

We are currently unable to accommodate local U.K. resident participation in our tour. If you are interested in receiving updates should this option become available in the future - please email us at londonwithdiane@gmail.com.

What is your refund policy?

The deposit of $500 per person is non refundable. All cancellations must be submitted in writing to be valid. Cancellations made 90–61 days prior to departure will be subject to a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the trip price; cancellations made 60– 31 days prior to departure will be subject to a cancellation fee equal to 75% of the trip price. No refunds are granted within 30 days of tour departure or for no-show or early departure from a trip already in progress.
Should a tour be cancelled before final payment due to low numbers, 100% of the deposit will be refunded.

Do you offer travel insurance?

We do not offer travel insurance, but we highly recommend all guests purchase travel insurance for this or any trip and are happy to offer some suggested providers.

Does the trip include transportation to and from the airport to the host hotel?

The trip does not include transportation to and from the airport, but we are happy to make suggestions to registered guests dependent upon their needs.

Do we travel as a group to the evening plays?

Given that many of the afternoons are free, we do not require that all attendees travel as a group to the evening plays. Transportation pricing is not included in the tour price, but our on-site tour escorts are happy to help match registered guests to help split cab fare. Since the hotel is conveniently located in the West End, many of the theatres will be within a 20 minute walking distance.
